Hi everyone,

Please note Oshita Sensei will be at the Myoken Dojo Iaido seminar in November 2010. This is a last minute surprise change, and so I have had to re-budget and make a new announcement.

Please make every effort to attend as this will be an ideal opportunity to consolidate work done at the summer seminar.

Oshita Sensei will be assisted by local Nandans. The seminar will include Zen Ken Ren Iaido (Seitei) and Koryu. Provision will be made for Muso Shinden Ryu and Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu

As this change is made late in the day as far as the hotel is concerned we have not been able to reserve as many places as we would like. It has therefore been necessary to increase the cost of the seminar a little (and extra £25.00) to cover the costs of flying Sensei from Japan. I know some people have already applied and paid at the previously advertised price. Could I ask those people to consider voluntarily donating an additional £25 given the additional value the seminar now offers.

My Sports Massage Therapist Leah Wheeler will also come along at some stage in the weekend to give a talk on joint and soft tissue health, and to give expert input into how we can warm up and stretch, tailored to the needs of Iaido.

Please pass this on to everyone in your budo mailing lists. We have 60 places, some are taken already. We need to fill all places. Strictly first come-first served. After the 60 places are filled we may be able to get additional rooms subject to cancellations by other groups at the centre.
